We at Royle Safaris hope that everyone is ok and dealing with these exceptional circumstances as best as possible. I imagine (like myself) everyone is itching to get out and see some mammals. The problem being that many places are still locked down or there are restrictions on travel from your home country.
Things are opening up now, slowly but surely, and one country that we have started running trips to again is Spain. We run several specialist trips to look for Iberian lynx annually and have a 100% success rate in seeing this incredible and highly endangered species. Our first trip after lock-down is set for departure tomorrow (2nd July 2020) and we can arrange private and tailored tours throughout the next few months.
The Spanish government has announced that any citizens of EU countries as well as 5 other European countries which are the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein & Norway are allowed to enter without quarantine or restrictions. Citizens from 15 other countries have been granted quarantine free access; these nations are Algeria, Australia, Canada, China, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.
So if you are a citizen of one of those nations and you wish to see the Iberian lynx and much other wildlife in the scrub-forests of southern Spain you can contact us for more information. firstname.lastname@example.org or reply to this message.
