Subject: Small mammal trapping project western OR

We are looking for technicians to help sample small mammals (shrews to tree squirrels) in old-growth forest in western Oregon this fall. This will be our 10th consecutive year of study in this watershed. Work is from Sept 13th until around Thanksgiving. Housing is provided on site (HJ Andrews experimental forest). The GS-6 crew lead position opens tomorrow for 4 days for those who qualify and have previous experience live trapping and handling small mammals. Here are the details:
