Recommended Kenya Guide/driver for Safari

Hello everyone!

So my sister is going to Kenya for her honeymoon in July! They’ve chosen Kenya but they don’t intend to stay at mega-luxurious-super-expensive lodges where they partake in massages and wine all day, but rather enjoy a Safari experience with mid-level accommodations.

They’re not mammal fanatics like myself, but they both do like animals and are interested in finding the Big 5 plus cheetahs, wild dogs, servals, caracals, both rhinos, interesting monkeys and some cool night creatures. They’ll probably go on 2-4 night drives throughout the course of 10-11 nights.

They’re doing Aberdare, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Amboseli, Tsavo East, Nairobi NP and maybe Laikipia. They’re also doing a few days on the beach and some cultural stuff. They’re looking for an affordable tour company or guide/driver for the adventure, who would be able to cater to them. They’re certainly not interested in finding and identifying bats and rodents, nor bird-watching especially for LBJ’s, but if there’s a good guide that has added value with his ability to find, spot and ID some of the extra animals I listed, they’d be happy to book with him.

I have Alex’s driver’s contact info, and wanted to get a couple more for my sister, to be able to compare.

Thanks in advance!
Tomer

I have lived in Kenya and know quite a few. The best one around is Peter Kiyaa.

Adventure Alternative Kenya might be worth a try. Locally owned and managed.
They are based near Mt Kenya, have their own safari vehicles and are well established
