Advertising: Bonobos in Lomako, DRC with Pictus Safaris

Here’s a trip I would love one day to take …

Pictus Safaris have two spaces remaining on our exciting July 2022 departure to Lomako Faunal Reserve in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This expedition offers a superb chance of protracted encounters with bonobo, as well as the possibility of a rich array of other species including black mangabey, Ansorge’s cusimanse, red river hog and, for the birders, Congo Peafowl. Accessing the remote Congolese interior by boat via the Congo, Maringa and Lomako rivers, this is a hugely rewarding itinerary for intrepid travellers and primate-specialists.

Full details are here.

I am already looking forward to the trip report!
