New Trip Report: Western Sahara

Here’s a report of a February trip to the Western Sahara. Royle Safaris are running two trips (repeating this itinerary) for 2023: 31st January – 7th February 2023 and 26th March – 2nd April 2023.

Western Sahara, 2022: Royle Safaris, 8 days & 11 species including Sand Cat and 3 Honey Badgers!

I don’t remember anyone reporting honey badgers before from here … has anyone else seen them there?

    Hi, Jon. Yes, recently Javi Elorriaga got pictures of Honey Badger at that region during one of his regular guiding trips there.

    We spotted one near Assouerd during our trip with Dakhla Rovers in May, 2019. Unfortunately, it was too fast for a photo.
