The Bats of Sabah: Report of Bat Workshops from Charles Francis & 1StopBorneo Wildlife

Here’s a report covering four bat workshops that Charles Francis ran last year with 1StopBorneo Wildlife in Sabah.

He caught – and took fabulous photographs of – 38 species including Spotted-winged Fruit Bat, Kingston’s Roundleaf Bat and Common Thick-thumbed Bat.

It would be exciting if these sorts of workshops could become a regular thing. Please!

Dear Jon Hall and to all the readers, replying to Jons final comment ”It would be exciting if these sorts of workshops could become a regular thing. Please!” _ the answer is YES, We are doing BATTING trips now 🙂 So if anyone wants to increase their Borneo checklist , do a mammal trip with us and we will try to incorporate it in two of the sites 🙂
