Anyone interested in Guyana’s Rewa Lodge this December?
Hi all!
My partner and I are on a super low budget as usual, but we’re going to be in Guyana in December and considering splurging a little to get out to Rewa Eco-lodge, a remote rainforest destination that’s been featured in several trip reports here, which is apparently considered to be on the cheap end for the area. The dates we’re looking at are roughly Dec. 13-16, 2025. We might be able to get the price down to between $400 and $500 per person for a 3-night stay if we had someone to share the boat transfer with – not counting international transport or excursions (the latter of which, if I understand correctly, would also be cheaper with a small group). My partner and I would probably need to be staying in the cheapest “benab” (US$40/night).
Their website is here, and the current rate card is here (note the daily flat rate per person for food, which can be more than the accommodation fee). Let me know if you have any questions (even if you’re not considering joining), as I’ve been badgering them with clarifying questions for awhile already.
It might not be the most mammal-focused trip ever, especially if we can’t afford a lot of the excursions they offer, but I’d definitely be participating and helping spotting in all available mammal-watching opportunities (I’m also good with bird ID).
I guess is this is short notice for a lot of people, but just thought I’d put it out there just in case.
Cheers,
Evan

Hi Evan,
I visited Rewa with Tracey and the kids in 2014 and it was excellent. There is a fair bit of wildlife to be seen around the lodge at night. Happy to discuss further if you have additional questions. Regards, Ian
