Malawi Recommendations
Hi everyone, first post here – although I’ve been lurking for a long time and have met a few of you in the field over the years.
It’s looking like I’ll be heading to Malawi with work in mid-August (probably 10th–15th) and I’m hoping to tack on a few days afterwards for some mammal watching. There don’t seem to be many recent trip reports from Malawi, though I did spot mention of bushpigs in a few older ones, which are very high on my wishlist!
Does anyone have recommendations for affordable parks, guides or destinations with a focus on the trickier mammals, like aardvark, caracal etc, but happy to hear any general wildlife recommendations too.
Also realise I’ve been benefiting from this community’s knowledge for years, so I’m definitely overdue contributing a trip report or two myself!
