China Mammal Trip Report including Sichuan and the Tibetan Plateau by Nick Buys.

A short June 2026 trip through Sichuan produced an impressive selection of mammals, including Red Panda, Tibetan Fox, Asian Black Bear, Golden Snub-nosed Monkey, Blue Sheep and Mainland Leopard Cat. The trip also highlighted the excellent potential of Labahe, Tangjiahe and the Tibetan Plateau for a longer dedicated mammal tour.
