Mammalia 2027 Update: West Papua (July) and Sulawesi Postponed – Last 2 Spots for Papua New Guinea
Hi everyone,
A quick update on Mammalia’s 2027 calendar.
For personal reasons, I have had to postpone the summer West Papua tour (July 15th–31st, 2027). The Sulawesi expedition also remains postponed. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience, and many thanks to everyone who had already shown interest. I will share new dates for both tours as soon as I can work out my 2028 schedule.
This means that in 2027 I will be guiding only:
West Papua 2.0 (February–March 2027): Fully booked
All participants are confirmed, and everything is ready to go.
Papua New Guinea (May–June 2027): Only 2 spots left!
I will be personally guiding two back-to-back tours. The first group is full, and the second group (May 26th–June 11th) has just two places left. It’s a great, friendly group with returning clients already on board. Thanks to helicopter access, this trip is far more comfortable than a typical New Guinea expedition. We’ll target Doria’s Tree-kangaroo, Painted Ringtail Possum, Calaby’s Pademelon and many other New Guinea specialities.
