Bears in Romania
Hey,
I Will be visiting Romania at the end of this September with my partner and our 1.5 year old boy.
It isn’t going to be a mainly mammalwatching trip but I would want to spend an afternoon or two looking for bears.
I would love to have recommendations of places or coordinates with good chances of seeing bears.
I contacted Sakertour for their hides but I prefer sighting without feedings.
Any tips would help!

So eventually I contacted Cosmin from Myosotique Wild in Brasov, he took us on a tracking trip near Poiana Brasov where we saw bear tracks, fur and a beehive bitten by a bear, and to a hide near Brasov where I saw two brown bears.
He is very knowledgable with great tracking skills.
He also guides wolf tracking tours.
Highly recommended!
