Camera Trapping in Sabah

1StopBorneo Wildlife have publishes this report based on their camera trapping experience in Sabah.

It provides information on the gear they use and how they set it up as well as some of the species photographed, including seldom photographed beasts like Hose’s Civet and Kinabalu Ferret Badger.

This might be an interesting read, especially if you are interested in setting your own camera traps.

    It’s important to note that to set up camera traps, permits are generally always required in Borneo. Just a heads up.

      That is correct Sebastian, We at 1stopborneo wildlife and all the people in the report, have the right permits to do so. A tip for mammal watchers, you cant simply place camera traps on Borneo but call your trip leader and they will find a temporary solution like us.
