Exploring Thailand – a blog post from Merlin Tuttle’s Bat Conservation

Some of you will remember hearing Merlin Tuttle on the mammalwatching podcast back in 2022.

Merlin is THE elder statesman of bat conservation and still spends part of his time running tours around the world in search of bats. This is a post covering some of a recent trip to Thailand featuring some cool species including Kitti’s Hog-nosed Bat, the smallest bat – and arguably smallest mammal – in the world. So if you are a chiropteraphile –  and you have not seen his website – then his trips are worth checking out.
