How to get notifications when people reply to my comments?

Hey everyone, how about a “meta post”…

I don’t seem to ever get email notifications when someone replies to a comment that I leave on a post. Yet I’ve seen others reply to my comments even when I make them months later, suggesting that they did get a notification.

Anyone know what’s going on?

    Hi Evan. It’s a good question and I am in the same position. We are looking into it. It’s possible no one gets notifications and they simply notice a comment on the home page list of recent comments … but we are looking into how to fix this.

    We’ve updated some stuff and I hope this now works – at least it should do on new posts going forward. Thanks for raising it.

      Jon – meant to come by and say thanks (yikes – it’s been six months??). I think it is indeed working now, based on a couple recent examples.
