New Listing League Tables Now Up for Canids, Bats & Mammal Familes
I am beginning to realize that quite a few people out there enjoy lists as much as I do. So – after popular request – we have added three new league tables to the those already up on this website: Canids, Bats and Mammal Families (Alex Meyer you are welcome and thanks for the help with that one).
The master checklists (in Excel) are up here https://www.mammalwatching.com/resources/global-mammal-checklist/
Please get ticking!
I have been asked whether we can also start including regional and national league tables. I will look into that … it would be fun though also quite a lot of work. Stay tuned.

Thanks Samuel. I am following the list at mammaldiversity and they have milneedwardsii lumped now with sumatrensis. I lost that species too. If you check out mammaldiversity.org it should give a reference to the paper that lumped them. I can’t open the page right now but it’s here https://www.mammaldiversity.org/taxon/1006192/

Great job Jon. One question though: don’t you have some serow species missing in the ungulates checklist like the Chinese/Indochinese Serow (Capricornis milneedwardsii) ? Samuel
