Spain + France, 2025

This report details wildlife watching in Spain (Andalusia and Northern Spain) aswell as a brief visit to the French Pyrenees to look for Desman. A total of 18 mammal (excluding tentative bat IDs), 32 herp and 173 bird species were seen! Highlights included Iberian Lynx, Brown Bear, Wolf, and European Otter.

    Thanks for the shout-out 🙂 Funny to read that chameleons are common in Guadalhorce delta, we’ve been there many times in the past, but at that time completely unaware of that possibility and then we looked for them high and low in many places until finally succeeding in Israel.
