The Weekly Recap

Hello and welcome back to the weekly recap! It’s a bit of a short one this week as the website has been eerily quiet…

The week started off with this short report from a trip to California with Elephant Seals, Island Foxes and a very fluffy baby Sea Otter.

The only other trip report posted this week was of NextContinentTours’ recent 3 days in Bach Ma NP, Vietnam. Some highlights are the Pygmy Slow Loris, Northern Yellow-cheeked Gibbon and Bamboo Rat.

Someone travelling to Uzbekistan in November would love some general advice, including on mammal guides and where to see Snow Leopards.

Mogens Trolle, driving from Adelaide to Perth in December, would like to know where to find Greater Bilby and a few other species like Numbat, Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby and Chuditch.

Steve Babbs planning a trip to Tanzania is wondering if anyone has been to Mkomazi NP and if it’s a good place for Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu and Oryx.

Finally, have a look at this post if you’d like to give Lynx Nature some ideas for their next field guide, whether that’s a specific country you’d like them to cover or a specific bird-watcher repellent you think should be imbued onto the paper.
