The Weekly Recap
Hello and welcome back to the weekly recap!
Starting off this week is a trip report from Nature Travel Africa’s trip to Namibia. They got to see White Rhinos, Porcupine, and Ground Pangolin among many other great species.
Next we have Samuel Marlin’s trip report from February in Thailand! He saw a bunch of species like Sun Bears, Northern Tree Shrew, Crab-eating Mongoose and Leopard Cat.
The final trip report was my dad’s from his Texas pocket gopher bonanza, where he found the elusive Hall’s Pocket Gopher (very disappointingly not named after me) and a few other species like Northern Grasshopper Mouse and both Western and Plains Harvest Mouse.
What might be the first ever video of a social group of the critically endangered Southern Patas Monkey was taken in Serengeti NP! Check it out here🙂
Ian Kneepkens is wondering if anyone would like to join a 2-3 night tour in Corcovado, Costa Rica mid August. See this post for more details!
And finally, a couple of people would like some advice: Aaron Meijer is wondering where to find Crested Porcupines in the Italian Alps and Liguria, and Svante Nilsson is looking for a good guide in Santa Cruz, Bolivia!
