Wildlife Guide Skills Survey
Dear friends, family, clients, fellow guides, fellow trainers, future travelers, and basically anyone remotely interested in the wildlife tourism industry,
As some of you may (or may not) know, for several years I have been running training courses for wildlife guides across East Africa. And while I THINK I know what I should be focusing on, I realise that I’ve been looking at the syllabus I offer through my own biased lens. What I’d really like to know is what YOU, former, current, and future travelers are looking for in a wildlife guide, and how I can help equip them to meet those expectations (selfishly, I’ll also use the responses to help inform my own guiding).
