Oklahoma
I visited Oklahoma for a few hours in May 2018.
Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge
I spent a couple of hours in this National Wildlife Refuge at dawn. I couldn’t find a Swamp Rabbit – my main target and supposdly common – but did see a Striped Skunk out in an open field an hour after sunrise.

A few minutes later I was surprised to see a Bobcat dash across the road and into some woodland. In the surrounding forest there were many Eastern Fox Squirrels and a single rabbit for a split second, that was most likely an Eastern Cottontail.
