Latest Observations & previous highlights

Highlights: Kipunji, Drill, all 9 species of Sifaka, all 3 species of Douc Langurs, Cat Ba Langur, Southern Muriqui, Pennant's Red Colobus. Most amazing trip: Cruise on the Amazon by Wildwings in May 2024 with 31 primate species seen in just 12 days (not all species were lifers). Last trip: jan 2025 to Taiwan, (peninsular) Malaysia and Thailand.

I'm not a 'real' mammal watcher because I'm mainly interested in primates. I (almost) always organize the trips myself because it is great to find the monkeys myself. I travel slowly, so that I have time to observe the monkeys carefully. So my primate list will never reach that of the diehard mammal watchers ;-)
