Members wanted to join a mammal trip to Sri Lanka First half April 2023

Dear all

I am presently putting together a team for about a 10 day trip – excluding journey times – to Sri Lanka. As the emphasis will be on mammals – especially rusty-spotted cat, fishing cat and (optimistically) Indian pangolin, it is will involve a large nocturnal element. Hoping to see some birds too, but it will very much be primarily a mammal trip. It is likely to be fairly intense but we do recognise the importance of getting some sleep, eating and the odd beer on a trip.

Keen as I usually am on independent trips, I realise that it is probably not realistic in this case so we will be using Bird and Wildlife Team | The best birding and wildlife watching tours in Sri Lanka and tours in India who come very highly recommended.

There are 2 of us so far

There is very little wriggle room with dates, as I am a teacher so bound my term times. My thoughts at the moment are fly overnight on 1 April. Have a recovery/sightseeing day and then start 10 days on the 3rd.
