The photo of Jungle Owlet shows a small owl with ears, which Jungle Owlet doesn’t have. I think it must be an Indian Scops Owl with rather pale features; Pallid Scops Owl might fit, but it is out of range.

Thanks! It was an amazing trip.
While I was there, I tried to get some info on a good place to see Clouded Leopards in India, but it seems like the odds are not in our favour, even in the “best” places, like Tripura or Manas. I’ll stay on the lookout for more.
