Course for Perspective MammalWatching Guides
My god guys and girls, I hope you’re sitting down, because the time has come!
The long-awaited MammalWatching guide course, which is a project that Jon, Charles and the Felis organization presented 2 years ago, is making first debut!
This is a project Valentin Moser and I have worked on, on-and-off for a long time, as we intend to bring an extensive course which covers a wide range of topics from ethics to operations, to who are MammalWatchers and what they want to see, etc. for anyone interested in guiding Mammalwatchers across the globe.
The first released version can be found here:

But we’re already working on an improved, 2nd version, with an emphasis on expanding the Ethics chapter, courtesy of Valentin. It should be coming up in a couple of months!
In addition to the course presentation, we are also in the process of making YouTube videos for each chapter, to really teach the course material for free to anyone interested, in an approachable manner and with some humor, which you are welcome to judge! 😜
The video of the first chapter can be found here:
Please feel free to make fun of my editing skills, terrible humor, and general awkwardness 🤪
If anyone else who has better editing skills wants to help us with future episodes, I’d be SO grateful 🙏🏻 . It takes hours upon hours!
The second chapter should be up by the end of the year, and then hopefully we can release each chapter within a couple of months until we are finished.
But as MammalWatching evolves, we would be happy for this course to evolve with it. So any suggestions will at least be considered 😉
Enjoy!
