Royle Safaris are running a Mega Mammal trip to Argentina in 2027

Royle Safaris have been working hard on a Mega Mammal Trip to Argentina. We firmly believe that Argentina is the biggest under-represented country in the world when it comes to mammalwatching. So over the last few years we have been working with the best mammalwatching guides in Argentina and spending time on scouting trips throughout this amazing country to produce an itinerary which we believe will net at least 50 species of mammals including some major mega species such as southern monito del monte, franciscana, Geoffroy’s cat, screaming hairy armadillo, northern and southern Andean huemel and many many more.

We have now finally composed and finalised the itinerary and pricing, the trip will be run September 2027 which is just about the only time of year when we can combine a good time of year to be in the north and south of this vast country for the purposes of mammalwatching.

We hope to run the trip annually as with all of our major mammalwatching tours, but we never know how often trips will run. Also as with most of our first time trips we will be sending Martin Royle from Royle Safaris along with the local mammalwatching expert guide Marcelo Gavensky, which we will likely not do for every trip. So there are some advantages to be on the first trip we run.

The trip will be limited to just 8 people maximum and will run with between 5-8 people, however we do expect this to be popular and so 8 people will likely be the group size.

Dates: 1st Sep – 22nd Sep 2027
