The Weekly Recap

Hello and welcome back to the weekly recap!

There have only been two trip reports posted this week. Ficus Tours’ trip to the Western Ghats in February saw 28 mammal species including Indian Crested Porcupine, Sloth Bear and Lion-tailed Macaque.

The other was Chris Townend’s trip to Abruzzo NP, Italy last May (co leading a Wise Birding Holidays tour) where they found 11 species including Marsican Brown Bears (with a link to a beautiful video of one), Apennine Wolves and Apennine Chamois.

If you’re looking for trips to join, Alex Meyer is putting together a team for a West Papuan adventure led by Carlos Bocos this time next year. Tiff and Chris are heading to Bolivia in October/November and are wondering if anyone would like to join them on a week-long cat tour. They’re also planning a trip to China next March/April, looking for Red Pandas, so get in touch if you’re interested in joining either of these!

Tomer’s trip to Colombia in January has an opening – if you’d like to see Oncilla Cats, Andean Bears or Mountain Tapirs here is your chance!

And if you want even more trip ideas, check out the join a trip page as usual.

Finally, someone travelling to Mexico City very soon would love some mammalwatching tips – specifically on where to find Ringtails.

Thanks for reading:)
