The Weekly Recap

Hello and welcome back to the weekly recap!

The first (and only) report of the past week was of Anna B’s trip to Borneo and Singapore. Although the trip mainly focused on herps (anything is better than mammals), she still managed to see a few great species like a Plain Pygmy Squirrel, Irrawaddy Dolphins, Philippine Slow Loris and even a Sunda Pangolin!

If you’d like to join a trip of your own, Pierre is looking for a couple companions for a Wild Encounter Thailand rare cetacean trip in September.

Zac Babbit would like some help IDing some bats found in Belize; Warren Gilson with differentiating between a Blue or Fin Whale, and Andy Millar needs help settling a Hyena vs Painted Dog debate (Zimbabwe).

Nathan Myhrvold is looking for some specific recommendations for where to see Kit and Swift Foxes. And finally, someone travelling to Cape Town soon would love to hear your best urban wildlife stories from the area!
