Hello Samuel, thank you so much for sharing. Your itinerary is perfectly what I dreamed of. I think I should exact copy it when I visit Dzanga Sangha. Could I ask you a few detail questions by email? This is mine zhoufangyi@mail.bnu.edu.cn. Thank you again.

Hi Samuel, as always a mouth-watering Sangha-report! I have some thoughts on the squirrels though. The problem is that the pictures seem to be reduced in quality due to the pdf:

    1. The Red-legged Sun Squirrel looks like a Forest Giant Squirrel to me: round head, marroon thighs and large tail

    2. The Western Palm Squirrel looks not how I would expect it: quite slender, also in the tail. I wonder if in fact it is not a Red-legged Sun Squirrel.

    3. How did you exclude Thomas’s Rope Squirrel in that Fire-footed Rope Squirrel photo?

As I’ve said, I am hesitant to claim these identifications with confidence, as the picture quality is somewhat reduced. Would it be possible to send me the original photos via email? You can reach me on daan.drukker@naturalis.nl
