Trip to Zambia this October.

Ian Thompson, Venkat Sankar and I planning on a trip to Zambia for the first two weeks of October of this year. We will be looking for all the regular ungulates and carnivore specialities of the area and will also be spending several days in the north west of the country in Congolese forest looking for Congolese endemics including the giant otter shrew. We may have one place available on the trip. If you are interested let us know.

    The first 2 weeks of October 2026 (actually 30 September to 12 October) happens to be my only gap between leading 170 days of tours through Southern Africa this year. I already spent 6 days in South Luangwa in March 2026, but would be keen to explore other areas with you.
