Austria
I spent a couple of nights in Vienna in October 2016. I loved the city, which is now one of my favourites in Europe, but didn't do much mammal watching.

Madeira
Madeira has some good cetacean watching with species like Blainville's Beaked Whales a specialty. Mediterranean Monk Seals are also quite reliable here too.
Svalbard (Spitsbergen)
I've taken two cruises off of Svalbard. Great scenery and good wildlife, even if ataking part in a cruise takes a bit of getting use to.
Egypt
I've been to Egypt twice, but for reasons other than mammals. In 1995 I spent a week on a boat out of Hurghada, where I was diving in the southern Red Sea. The diving was fabulous
