Although there is much more to mammalwatching than listing species, it is – for many of us – a fun way to track our effort. Mammal listing is nothing more than a friendly competition. But I believe it can motivate mammalwatchers and also lead to a more interactive and lively community. So if you have a list please share it here. Any questions about what people have seen or where? Just click on their list and ask them.

You can share only your primate and cat and all mammals lists at the moment. But league tables for other groups of species will appear if there is demand.

If you are interested in doing a Big Mammal Day then here are the rules. And here is a thread on whether to count bats based on sonograms.

My recent new species was Spectacled Galago in Uganda. A predictable highlight was Eastern Gorilla. I haven't added either Thomas's or Demidoff's Dwarf Galago to my list as I'm concerned about identification. If anyone has information beyond size and movement I'd be most interested to hear it.
