Sweden

WildSweden started  in 2003 when Marcus Eldh took travelers to search for Moose in the forests of Central Sweden. Shortly after, Wolves, Beavers and Bears were added to the list of tours. And in 2019 they pioneered a first trip to look for Lynx. As Marcus explains: ”The difficulty is not to find the animals, the difficulty is to find people who want to look for them.” Marcus and his team have received international recognition including several awards for their struggle to save Sweden’s forests and wildlife through responsible tourism.
